Dampens the wobble in steering caused by poor roads.
A reproduction of the original Ford steering damper kit, fitted as standard to many export models and the GPO vans here in the UK. It was fitted to dampen the oscillations or wobble in the steering caused by poor quality roads.
It was an optional extra in the UK.
Kit comes with a copy of the original Ford fitting instructions and is made exclusively for the Owners Club by suspension specialist, Milton.

Rework which includes the races, journals and the use of a diamond file on the worm to remove pitting
Seal replacement
